Our Approach

We like to measure our results. We expect change. For that reason, we value client relationships that grow as we help them grow.

Some clients come in looking for website content, and realize their logo and brochure need an update too. Some call for website design, and realize, with relief, that we write the content too.

Once the first task is complete, we measure the results, and see what else might be needed to improve.

We believe that a clear focus on audience underpins all we do. At the same time, we see how companies must change their focus over time, so we look out for you as we watch trends in your industry, demographics of your audience, and more.
We’ve selected some key clients to describe how we can serve you.

Community Lenders
This organization of 25 banks pools loan money for non-profits that provide housing or community service to low and moderate income individuals. Formed in 1999, Community Lenders had a home-grown feel to its website and print materials, not in keeping with the banks it represents. When Board President Patricia Kratz  and  new Executive Director Audrey McMichael received an ok from their board to boost marketing, they called Word Work. Over a period of about six months, we developed a new logo, tri-fold brochure, pocket folder, and website.

Feng Shui Lighting
Entrepreneur Larry Berman has a vision: To build a commercial lighting company that sells the work of artisans focused on the principles of Feng Shui. His logo was great, but his website was out-of-date, because he was using a designer who moonlighted for him, and he didn’t have anyone to write the content for the site.  Larry came to us with an emergency: He needed a tri-fold brochure in five days before a national trade show. Once we delivered, and took a breath, we turned to his website, and postcards to keep the buzz on his Blossom and other lighting fixtures. A year later, Feng Shui Lighting  is opening offices in Las Vegas.

K HR Solutions
Kim Huggins decided to parlay her 16-year career in Human Resources into her own consulting business.  After two years, her business needs had outgrown her home-grown logo, brochure, and website. Because she had several workshops coming up, Word Work updated her logo, then crafted a full-sized, full-color brochure within two months. Her new website is in design.

Weaver, Reckner & Reinhart
It has been our pleasure to be part of this amazing dental firm’s success. Based in Souderton/Hilltown, on the edge of Bucks and Montgomery County, Weaver, Reckner & Reinhart had just renovated their shopping center offices into something spectacular inside. Word Work first wrote their tri-fold brochure, then set to work on their website. In 2006, we updated the brochure, and redesigned the website, based on user statistics. Also in 2006, Weaver, Reckner & Reinhart opened a second office in Harleysville, Montgomery County and took on another dentist. Word Work provided copy for various promotional materials, and promotes their news monthly on the website.

Hatfield Township
Word Work has produced this Montgomery County, Pa. township’s quarterly newsletter and “Our Town” map since 1999. Their website had grown like Topsy—with nearly 200 pages, and few logical ways to get to them. Word Work thought like a resident, then like a local business, then like a developer, and rebuilt the navigation, reorganized and updated the content, and commissioned new photographs that illustrate residents living in Hatfield Township. The website was fully redesigned and launched within three months.
